Diethylhexyl butamido triazone is a ultraviolet radiation absorber (UVAII and UVB) found in personal care products including sunscreens and cosmetic products. Chemical sunscreen agents diminish the penetration of ultraviolet (UV) light through the epidermis by absorbing UV radiation within a specific wavelength range.
Avoid products that list any of the following names in the ingredients:
• 4,4'-[[6-[[4-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]carbonyl]phenyl]amino]-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl]diimino]bis-, bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzoate
• Iscotrizinol
